Way to add to the retirement fund, you will make thousands selling parts one day. Congrats on the new addition.

Now those are some nice red X's Albert! I wish Apache was not punks and would let me see the new truck! Going to be a DD?

Not counting the drivers fender or hood (bondo) the rest of the 4runner's body is RUST FREE ;) I love the dry Texas weather.Bought it from the original owner, never had the top off. Will have to get pictures of the frame and underside. How ya'll like the old man running boards LOL

As everything I drag home this one does not run (hence the need for the trailer )
Its needs paint and body work and the engine is sitting in the back of the of the 4runner in fifty or so pieces.
I hope to build and keep this one close to stock and as a Daily Driver .The aftermarket aluminum rims and tires are coming off and putting on same factory SR5 rims and calling it good with this one.....only time will tell if I live it alone.

anyone intrested in taking a road trip on april 3-4. im going to hot springs to pickup my axle and my wife may not be going with me.

anyone going to BR or coming this way from BR?

spillmancruiser has those springs off a 80 for me but i'm not able to get up that way for at least a couple of weeks.

Davin I picked up your springs from Mike (spillman) on Saturday. Nice guy he'd fit right in with us and hopefully he'll get to make an event soon. He's got a nice 80. :)

I'm New to BSLC side of mud forum and....

hey guys my name is cody beebe and i live in sunset. i have an 89' fj62 and i like to do most of the work on it myself but for the stuff i cant do i was wondering if ya'll could refer some good area mechanics..... and also i want to do a SOA suspension lift and i was wondering if ya'll knew anybody notable to do this for our LC's. i would love to come to a meeting sometime @BWW if i ever get a sunday off sometime. i was just curious if ya'll could help. thanx if ya'll can,l8r.

Welcome Cody we look forward to meeting you. We have some very knowlegable folks here that can give you input. Paul (lostinafog) is our resident mechanic and can help you with most things. You'll just have to get on his list :) he stays busy. To do the cut and turn and SOA the 4WD shops here really don't do much of that so I can't say that would be your best bet. I'd source the parts and do it yourself. I can give you Brian Carpenter's number as he did it on his FJ60 and maybe able to help you or do it for you. Stay in touch I think you'll like what you see and hear we have a good group of folks here.

Larry
