I saw your rig tonight on my way home from work today...

You've got a winch, all those tow points and a jerry can...(and the light "protector" thingy) you gotta put that thing on the rig to Alabama...

So I know Mike Theriot (Tabascoloco) has had to realign some priorities and doesn't hang out here as much as we'd like, but he was one of the founding members of the club and helped out a great deal. I just wanted everyone to know that his dad had surgery this am ... we all wish him the best

Scott,

I am seriously thinking about going. Not sure if I will
take my rig. I don’t feel I have had enough bonding time yet, not
sure how and/or if everything works (story for Sunday). Would like
some assistance looking over things, just to make sure all is solid before taking it offroad.

I think taking it offroad is how you find out what is solid... and what ain't ;)

nice rig. Throw it on the truck and ride the bunny trails (w/ me)... you'll enjoy it

We ride as a group and do the trails that we all can do. Those trails, especially at the SCC, that have difficult sections have bypasses so your rig doesn't get beat up too bad.

If you can go, you should. You WILL have a good time. The Cottonland guys do a great job hosting this event and the park is really cool.

I have not made a trip up there before so i will be riding just like what was said riding as a group bunny trails and all. We have some capable rigs in the club with winches and good experienced drivers. No one is out for tearing up their $hit on the trails just the enjoyment of being away from work. And we can not forget the intelligent camp fire talk :beer:.

Howdy...my name is Eric and I'm sure that I'll meet you this weekend, believe me when I say that I didn't want to do any damage to the 40 that I spend A LOT of time on...but I took it on the trails and now I'm hooked! You'll have a blast at the SCC, but if you don't want to take it, you can always jump in one of the passenger seats. I know I'll have a free seat as will a few others.

I've been out of touch for a few weeks, so I am just now playing catch up on my reading. Congrats on the rig and I look forward to meeting you this weekend.

Alright, I know some folks didn't like it but I thought it was kinda cool w/ a message that we all can be evil and mean... we have to choose to do otherwise. The 30'something y/o, the 11 y/o, and the 9 y/o really liked it. The 6 y/o sat on the 30-something y/o for one or two parts.. but in the end.. she liked it as well.
