Loving the work & pics. But let's upgrade to some video !!

You want video of me driving to work? Or sitting in my driveway frantically cutting and welding as much as possible on the weekends, while trying to do personal maintenance on the side while the welds cool, or paint drys, or grinder cools off? That about as exciting as its been getting lately.

All of the above !!

To bad you didn't setup a time lapse of your work area ... That woulda been kinda cool honestly .... Oh well.

Had a big gap between clients this afternoon so i did a little work. Got the rest of the floor out in the rear, and removed the unused brackets, sound deadener, and paint, from the wheel wells. Left two of the brackets on top of the wells, because I feel like they may be useful for bolting something down in the future. Going to fill the holes and throw some primer on there to keep it from rusting. Still working on what i want to do with the floor. I was originally going to make add some supports and use a sheet of 16 gauge I have to make a nice smooth floor. Now I am thinking I may make bolt down panels over the coils/shock mounts so in the future when i go to coilovers, I wont have to cut up the floor. Whole cargo area will be line-x'ed when I am done.

Theres as thread about running longer shocks by modding the towers to fit them. Now would be perfect time to do the rears if you wanted!

Thats exactly why I think I am going to do the removable panels. That way i can mess with the rear suspension whenever I want.

I simply love this.

Did you get your snorkel on? I have a new one in the garage that comes with the template. Let me know if you want to borrow it.

Not yet. Sam (S.CarolinaFZJ80) said he has a template I can borrow, if we can figure out how to be in the same place at the same time, haha. I appreciate the offer though.

Did some work today. Put the MetalTech spacers back up front. I liked the lower COG without them but I was rubbing everywhere and its going to be worse with the wheel spacers I am installing. Got some MAF spacers waiting to go in the rear if I need them once the weight of the floor, seats, cage, and whatnot is back on the truck. Also, removed some more stuff to drop a few more lb's. Im also installing the snorkel and I figured it would be easier to remove the fender than reach inside. Plus I wanted to get rid of the bolt under the cowl so I can take the fenders off easily in the future. Decided to clean up the inner fender and put a coat of smooth high gloss enamel instead of the matte finish that Mr. T put on there. Figured it would help out with any rust (not that that is a problem in socal), and not attract as much grime:

Stuff removed. (in CLASSIFIEDS with a bunch of other parts for anyone interested)

Going to paint the cowl and hood tomorrow. Decided I want them satin to match the rest of the truck.

What you doing for back seats?? All the 80 seats are super heavy so your dropping bunch weight!
