Brought an 80 home today (1 Viewer)

Well, my son turned 15 in October and we wanted something safe and reliable. We started looking several months ago and today we brought home a 1996 LX 450. The truck was a 1 owner vehicle from St. Louis area. Older gentleman purchased it from Plaza Lexus and used it to take his grandchildren to California on vacations.

It’s not perfect but he couldn’t be more excited.

244k and all original. Only spot of rust is under the weather stripping on the back hatch. Looking forward to learning more about the 80 series with all of the knowledge here. Cheers!

Nice find, I have been look in for years to replace my FJ 40 from years ago. In Nov found an FZJ 80 with 208,000. Very excited about building it up. Or do we leave it stock. That is the question.
