Looking for recommendations for a U.S. customs broker/freight forwarder who has real experience importing Land Cruiser parts from Australia to the U.S., especially used/rebuilt diesel engines and transmissions.

Ideally looking for someone who:
  • Has handled AU to U.S. sea freight for used Toyota/Land Cruiser parts
  • Understands the correct EPA / DOT / NHTSA handling for standalone engines and transmissions
  • Knows how to avoid port delays, holds, storage, demurrage, and paperwork issues
  • Can advise on legal ways to reduce landed cost, like proper HTS classification, AUFTA eligibility, MPF savings, consolidation, and correct freight/insurance treatment
  • Is compliance-focused and won’t play games with invoice values
Would appreciate any names, companies, or contacts you’ve personally used successfully.

If you want someone in Australia, try this guy

I used him to ship a complete cruiser from AU to USA.
He was very responsive and helpful through the whole thing.
I had him arrange customs clearance in usa, I picked the car up from the clearance yard.

I'm not sure if they handle parts, engines etc, but I think he would be a good person to reach out to
