A quick question for you guys, I picked up a new master cylinder for my truck and I'm ready to put it in.

On the bottom of the master there are two small cylinders with wires coming out of them (I'm guessing they are some sort of pressure switch for each circuit)

Questions:

1. Are they pressure switches
2. Can I leave them out and put plugs into the holes?

The reason I ask is because I doubt I can get them out of my old master cylinder and into the new one without damage.

They are pressure switches for your brake failure warning system.

I plugged mine apx 20 yrs ago:)

Brass plugs from the local plumbing shop. They outlasted the master cylinder.

Thanks, I assume pipe thread, by any chance do you know what size they were.
I’d be guessing. I don’t even know if I have the master anymore.
