I trashed another brakeline today about 15 miles from the paved road  . Is there any good trail fix for this situation. I have visegrips for the soft lines but the hard lines are a little more difficult. Any help would be awsome. BTW dont tell me to drive home in 4low first gear! LOL!

X2 just cut some dead male fittings with about 3" of line on them, crimped. Solder up the cut ends, and you have emergency plugs. I keep two in The Mule, just in case.

You can also buy plug-fittings.

Vicegrips and bailing wire...

Just bend the end of the hard line over, and clamp a vice grips on it real tight. Might help to mash it flat with a hammer. The bailing wire is to hold the vice grips in place...

Thanks for the tips guys.
