So…my brake lights are inop

My fuse is good and I have 12 volts to the green/blue wire at the brake switch on the peddle

When I depress the brake the green/white wire going to the brakes puts out 1v

Is the switch defective or is that all its supposed to send to the brake lights

I'm not sure re: the juice that's being delivered to the brake lights when the switch is activated.

But, I will add that it could be the little rubber stopper has been punctured.

My lights did the same thing as yours. My stopper was toast.

I tracked down a new stopper and went ahead and put in a new switch.

No problems (with the brake lights!) since.

Jump the back of the switch and see if the lights turn on. If they do…then try manually activating the switch. If nothing then replace the switch.

I used my power probe on the back of the actual brake pedal switch and they light up

I guess i’ll order a new switch immediately
