Brake light help (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone i have an electrical issue that i'm trying to hunt down.

Heres the issue:
NO LIGHTS ON SCENARIO-
Driverside brake light lamp will only last a few months if that before it needs to be replaced, passengerside brake lamp is a works. Hatch brake lamp works fine.

LIGHTS ON SCENARIO-
Driverside brake/lamp out. Passengerside brake lamp is a constant ON, even when pressing the brakes it's always ON. Hatch brake lamp works fine.

Any thoughts? Short? Bad relay? grounding issue?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I have a buddy that does the exact same thing. What year is your rig? Mine is a 93 and I have never had this problem. However his is a 94 and it seems every time we go out and I am behind him he needs to replace the driver side bulb.

Grounds in poor shape, Vibration kills filament, evil spirits...

Do you have a trailer wire converter? they do funny things when they start to go bad. Bad grounds can also be a problem.
