I'm having a brake issue that I cant figure out. when driving I get one press of the pedal with assist but if I try to brake again after letting up with in about 10 seconds the pedal is hard as a rock with no assist. if i wait, the assist comes back so its just taking way too long to recover. I measured about 17 in of vacuum on the booster and its a relatively low mileage replacement from city racer (although its been on the truck for years) so i assume the booster is not the problem. Fluid is normal and nothing else seems off but this is a new problem. is the 17 just not high enough or is something else going on?
