Brake Booster or Master Cylinder or both?

Here's the latest. There is no pressure at all, with either the engine on or off. The pedal just goes down and up with the spring. I've taken off the master cylinder - which was very dirty inside and the gasket was dry and falling apart.

When I pump the pedal I hear the booster pushing and sucking air like an air pump. Is there a way I can test it? With the no pressure thing with engine on or off, do you still think the booster is fine?

I've ordered the cylinder and booster (just in case), should be here later this week. However, I need a replacement line - the coiled line from the master cylinder was stripped (cheap flair nut wrench), so I had to remove it at the actuator. Is that going to cause me any issues?

Also, how do I bench bleed the mc? Can someone point me to a link or try to explain?

the way I bench bled my master is to take two tubes that fit tight into the outlets and ran them into the top, filled with fluid and circulated fluid by pushing piston in until there were little to no bubles coming out of outlets. I left the tube in and installed master, tried to prevent as little as posible fluid loss when I pulled tubes out one at a time and installed hard lines back. then I bled starting at furtherest corner.

Sorry I missed the MNTOYX4s meeting this month..

I have a mighty vac.. Thinking of doing a bleed soon. Pedal is ok... not great... Might do a new MC first since it is the original and I am sure that the only original hydro parts are the MC and the LSPV
