2016 200 new to me, love it.

1.) BP-51s on the way but looking for recommended preload with stock bumper and no winch/accessories? OME recommends 10mm but I have read here at least one person used 5mm. I will probably add an ARB dual compressor and potentially a dual battery setup but a bumper and winch are way in the future, if ever. Feedback?

2.) Plan to run TRD Rock Warriors and have read lots of older threads about how 285/70R17s fit without issue. I don’t want any rubbing nor do I want to run a spacer so my question is can I run 285/75R17s and have no issues with the BP-51s and RWs or should I stick with 285/70R17s? Leaning towards the Falken ATW3.
Thank you
Eric

1) I don't think you'll go wrong either way, but you are going to be adding some weight and you'll get a touch more height. When the crew at Slee asked me what I wanted I said to split the difference at 7/8mm and have more than enough rake with ARB 2721s in the back. I don't think you'll see much difference especially with dual battery or a heavier single group 31. The compressor won't make much difference in weight. The question you need to ask yourself is how much weight are you going to put in back.
2) 285/75r17 KO2 fitment thread this thread and specific page has the answers you seek. It definitely has been done with KO2s. On other brands I believe some people have had to trim, remove mudflaps, etc. I would think you'd be able to run 285/75r17 with the AT3Ws without issue on RWs as they seem to run small compared to say Nittos or Coopers. No science backing that up; just eyeballing 275/65/18 Ridge Grapplers next to 275/70/18 AT3Ws when parking our Tundra by our neighbor's F250.

Thanks for the feedback. Looks to be over 6 1/2 pounds per tire heavier for the 285/75R17 Falkens. That is quite a bit. Thinking I may stick with the 285/70R17 and avoid the weight and potential need for spacers and other mods.

Here is a link to the official Toyota "poop sheet" on the Rock Warriors which has a lot of valuable info:

Please note: On page 5 of 12, the phrase, "Regulate tire pressure to: FRONT & REAR: 46 PSI" should read, "Regulate tire pressure to: FRONT & REAR: 40 PSI." This, of course, applies to the recommended LT285/70R17 tires on a LC200.

I've run both 285/70R17s and 285/75R17s with BP-51 and Rock Warrior wheels. No rubbing with 285/70R17s. I had rubbing on KDSS and mud flaps with 285/75R17s. I removed the mud flaps and installed Slee KDSS relocate and now have light rubbing at full lock with 285/75R17. I'll go back to 285/70R17s on next tires. Both tire sets are/were BFG A/T.
