How expensive...Three years ago I put a original complete, except for the ignition kit, large tool roll on EBAY expecting a couple hundred at best.
No opening bid...it sold for 795.00 dollars.
I didn't have the need for them. I thought they'd be better in the hands of a collector.
I am curious of the second pic down. You call the screwdrivers "Toyota". Those screwdrivers are made by Vessel. I have all of their drivers. My original I sold came with wooden handles. The Vessel are way nicer. The red handled ones are "impact" drivers. The tang goes through the
handle to a steel cap on the back made to be bludgeoned

i called them toyota drivers because they are stamped toyota, with a toyota part number. and you are correct, they are made by vessel from what i have gathered.

@Bones
hey buddy, I really need to get my hands on some SST's from Toyota. you have done yourself spoilt mate, but can I ask where from? looked everywhere but come up empty handed. any help would be appreciated.
cheers

That looks similar to the pile I got from Japan a couple months ago - minus the tool bags and grease guns/engine kits . Getting pretty fond of the Kyoto drivers and wrenches , very well made and close-fitting tools , just as it should be .
Might be interested in the grease gun group buy if we can get the price down reasonable - it's the shipping that hurts so much .

Both Kyoto and Vessel are available on EBAY from both the factory and various distributors. Vessel is even on Amazon.They are premium quality and most people are unaware that Japan uses JIS crosspoint screws , not Phillips head. Phillips have ramped blades that are designed to self eject under heavy torque. JIS ( Japanese industrial standard ) are less inclined to strip those hard to remove Toyota crosspoint screws

I gave out 3 Vessel JIS drivers for xmas this year, my buddy who works on small engines loves his so much he carries it on his belt now, he has also ordered other tools from Vessel. Its very hard to find something for the guy who literally has everything.....but man I hit a home run with that driver
