Hello

I have just installed a boost compensator to my pump, been doing road tests and fine tuning the pump.

I have taken the aneroid and diaphragm out to decrease preload on the spring and the guide pin in the pump has popped out in the way.

Is there a way to get this out of the way without grinding the pin or taking the throttle lever and spring out?

Remove the set screrw from the outside, catch the spring....

There's a 17mm nut/plug that keeps the on and spring in place.
You can remove the plug, push the pin out of the way, reinstall after aneroid is back in.
If your going to do this, make sure the area around the nut is clean. It's a bit fiddly to reach, but I did this many times with mine. Be careful taking it apart so the spring doesn't pop out.

Edit: just noticed the original post is nearly a week old.
