hehe.
Got my 73 cabin on my 77 chassis along with all the 77 controls and harness. I want to install my heater blower, but don't want to hack up the harness, firewall, or switchplate. First thing I found was the later blower is of a larger diameter and will not swap into the blower box. poop. okay, and the later box is definately not going into the holes on the firewall. alright. what if I used the resistor assembly from the later box on the earlier blower? Hmmm. why not? Just gotta find a clean way to mount it. Should I be concerned about placing the resistor into the blowers airstream as it was in the later box, or as long as it's electrically insulated, it should be fine, no?
