Macneill, nice rims, the place did a great job powdercoating. anything I should watch out for, did they sand or beadblast your rims before coating it ? I agree about Jaos rims, very nice but not too practical for what we use our trucks for. $500 per rim is just simply outrages.

The rims pictured above look a whole lot like the optional tundra and sequoia rims that I've seen. They're the 17" rims and do fit the 80 series.

I've seen them on a couple cruisers on this forum -- I think inacoma is running them (IIRC)...

Nice guys. I can't remember exactly how much they were. Something like $60 a piece.

They sandblasted them. Not sure what to look for other than damage to the wheels before they coat them. I did have balance issues when the tire shop used Equal in the tire. Went back and they put some lead on them. They're much better, but still have intermittent shaking sometimes.

I got mine you can use, but they won't fit. Bollocks.

Don't know how much it'd cost for LC wheels; but they quoted $400 for my 15" MBZ wheels - lucky I have a good heart!

Has anybody tried Wurth wheel paint? I've heard very good things about them.

PS for TY: in addition to others, smoke out your White lenses using window tints - looks pretty cool (for cheap)

I'm thinking about going with semi gloss or gun metal. Joas has a set of rims that come in gun metal very nice but very expensive. I'm going to call this place www.wheeltechniques.com, their in Santa Clara, Ca kinda close to me. apparently all the rice-rocket crew get their wheels done here and their very good. Gonna call them and get a quote on monday, I won't pay more than $60 per rim, including the bead or sand blasting and cleaning. Mcneill, Can you post some pics of your rims ?

Joe, I bought them from 4WPs here in Sacramento for $1580 mounted/balanced and shipped to me. They are 4.5". Call the Sacramento shop and ask for Jeff Berreto and tell him Carl Palomo referred you. Not sure if he'll give you same price I paid since cost goes up on time, but you never know and he would work with you.
