BJ74 turbo issue

Hi, I think I have a turbo issue in my BJ74 auto. Both the turbo and the orange light comes on prior to starting, but once driving the green one doesn't seem to come on at all anymore.

So does this mean my turbo doesn't work anymore? Car still seems to drive ok. Could something be loose (that i need to check) or a fuse, or what?

Any help would be great, don't want to blow up the engine..

Um, if your turbo isnt working your cruiser would be driving like crap and making more black smoke.

I expect its a wiring issue, Im not familiar with the 74's so Ill let someone else pipe up about it.

Check your hoses. There are two pressure switches that connect to crossover tube between the butterfly and the turbo. They turn on the green and red lights when they get the appropriate pressure. You probably have a leak. Cody is right. You'd know if you had no boost.

Thanks for your input, anyone got any pictures of the pipe i should be looking for, or tests i can do to check where the leak could be coming from?

Anyone found a NA supplier for small vacuum hose clamps that actually fit?
I have been using small zip ties on the hoses - but they do not work very well.
I would like to put small clamps on my maze of vacuum hoses as they often fall off when working on the engine.

That part number does not cross with anything North American - that is why I am looking for after-market.

I found the diagram by searching the MUD forum when I was troubleshooting problems with the VSV that shuts the engine off.
