Howdy folks,

Picked up this '89 BJ74 from John @ RADD a few weeks ago now. Hoping to deal with the few rust spots in the spring/summer/fall this year, but other than that she seems like a nice rig, notwithstanding the things below that I'm hoping to find in the nearish future.

1. Running boards.

Just want to protect the rockers and underside of doors from rocks and debris. Let me know if you have OEM or aftermarket and what price.

2. Bushbar.

Not "needed" but I'd like to have something substantial if I meet an Elk on Hwy18 one evening! I have an OEM chrome front bumper if anyone would like it (after I get the bushbar that is).

3. Rear seat headrests.

I have a couple iron's in the fire on this one but thought I'd throw it out there if someone has some they don't need/want anymore.

4. Coolant Hose Kit

I'm wanting to replace all the coolant hoses "just to be sure" as the vehicle had sat for some (unknown) time. Anybody have a line on these? RADD doesn't have them in stock and I'm not sure if or when they can get them in at this point. They do have the water pump in stock so I'll likely replace that at the same time.

5. Hella accessory lights.

I have a set of Hella 200's that are 12v and I'm hoping to find someone who wants to trade for something 24v. The 24v are probably like a thousand times more expensive so I'm probably SOL on that...but throwing it out there nonetheless.

6. Shackles!

I have LONG shackles on this rig. I'm hoping to get shorter or OEM shackles. Anyone got any?

Here's what she looks like. It has just under 200k. Auto. 13BT. Bought new General Grabber AT2's with 16" black steelies. Installed three lapbelts in the rear. Front end is pretty much all new, rear brakes are new, exhaust is new, batteries are new, and it even has suspension seats. What it does NOT have is lockers or a winch.

Hey, get that new wheel on? You got time to run up Friday night? Be nice to see you there. I'll have mine
there too. Talk to Diesel Cruiserman about the hose kit. I got one from him, but only one which is dibs on mine
when I get to servicing the coolant this summer.

Good looking truck ! Unfortunately on the mainland but In terms of parts, you could always talk to Mike McTague (coastal cruisers)
regarding this one 86 BJ74 Landcruiser 110K pts truck and Sheldon from G&S probably still has some 70 series remnants.

Hey Paul, I have the radiator hose kit for auto, three hoses in the kit plus clamps. None of the heater hoses. I would recommend the water pump also if unknown plus lack of service in Japan...I do not have that but John probably does.

Great looking little rig, I had the same truck 10 years ago with auto in gray..

Update...Still looking for a couple things...

1. Rear headrests which can apparently be from a 60 series too, and maybe even other Yota '80's rigs.

2. 60 series pitman arm. Apparently because of the lift, if I put in a 60 series it will help with steering wheel shudder on rough roads because it reduces the angles. If anyone is looking for a 70 series pitman arm, I'll trade ya!

3. Running Boards...

Hey, forgot to get you those headrests before I left.
I might have a 60 arm...I'll have a look tomorrow if I remember.

Edit...

 the crustaceous one beat me to it...

Should you find that 60 pitman arm let me know, I would be interested. If you find it,
pm me with how much you would like for it. J
