Hey guys.
I'm after a snorkel for a bj73. It now has a 12ht in it but I think the air box is the same.
I had a quote for a safari which was $480
Anyone had any experience with other brands? eBay snorkels?
Thanks

I am a little wary of the eBay snorkels. Has anyone had any experience with them? For $100 it's a good deal if they are good.

Has anyone fitted the ironman Air Force snorkel?
They have the snorkel for this.

Toyota LC71/73/75/78/79 (Pre 2007)
2h, 1hz, 3f. In the installation photos I've seen it looks as though the air box is the same. Looks as though the pipe comes through the hole closest to the front. I would just have to move my window washer bottle.
Does anyone know if there are any other differences?

I'd look at going to find a OEM snorkel & box from a hj cruiser from wreckers, clean them up, the snorkel and box connect inside qtr, no need to re route through washer bottle, I did it and came up a treat, very happy

I don't think the OEM snokels are watertight when you get them ,you need to seal them with silicon. No guarantee it will stay sealed like a 1 piece unit.
ARB probably outsells OEM by 10 or 20 to one in oz on the 70 series.

And I bet 1 in the 20/30 punters that purchase safari / ARB aftermarket snorkels actually do not attempt to cross water at the bonnet depth,
I had to seal my OEM snorkel that's airtight in middle junction but the entry through front guard still requires my attention, but pretty confident I won't be doing a Hulsty deep dive any time soon

I ordered in a dobinsons snorkel. $300.
I couldn't justify spending the near on $500 for the safari.
