I have a BJ72 converted to BJ74 13B-T engine and auto tansmission. Been almost a year since it was done.
I am noticing that at idle sitting in D/3/2/1 that the enine will start shaking and it get progrssively worse until it either stalls or I flick trans into "Neutral". Sometimes it can be when in "Neutral" also. A small increase in REVS will stop the problem.
Is this because the idle is too low. I have checked the engine mounts they are fine as well as the auto mount. I know 13B-T is a rough idler. Is does not matter if engine is hot or cold or if it is raining or stinking hot.
I have not replaced the glow plugs and do not even have a glow plug light in my truck. It starts each time first turn no wait no cranking.
My mechanic cannot answer the question nor does it bother him when he drives it he just lets it go.
Fuel is high quality vendor (Caltex).
Any advice welcomed.
