This truck has been my daily driver for 6 years, and it has been great on the trail. During the time I have owned it I have rebuild or refurbished almost everything, down to a wiper switch assembly It has been a hard decision to part with it, but I have my eyes set on something bigger and more family and B.C. winter camping friendly (a 60 or 80 series LC). I have been advised by local LC enthusiasts of its value and would part with it for 15,000 CND.

This is a very nice truck, Marcin has spent a lot of time and effort into making it what it is (more then the price very likely). He does take it on our Coastal Cruiser runs but manages to keep it out of the nasty stuff so there is no trail damage or abuse. Damn thing starts better then mine in cold weather.

Looks nice; got to ask; how slow(fast) is a diesel compared to a petrol FJ40??

What is wrong with the fender; is that rust bubbling up?
Also, does it have a leak somewhere; can't tell from the pics.

Last, how much in US dollars?

One of the reasons why I got the 5 speed installed is because my work commute is mostly highway. This truck keeps 110 km/h, having the 4:11s and the 33" tires. The 3B provides enough power (there is always the turbo option to increase the output), as for acceleration, I only drove a V8 40 to which of course you can not compare the non-turbo diesel, however I am getting 9.8L/100km.

The fender on the picture is an original one and it has the rust bubble. The aluminum fenders are IMO a great replacement.
There is no leaks from the drive line, the only oil drops coming out is from the "blow by" hose.

Current prise is 16,000 CND or US.

Bump also for a beautiful truck. Marcin was one of the first coastal cruiser members i met. His truck has always been an inspiration and has made me jealous it is truly in beautiful shape.
