I made one of these tables out of galvanized cable tray, looks the same and cost me nothing.

If you cut yourself a sheet of Delrin or polypropylene and fit it inside the rails, you'll have a great cutting board that's easy to clean and disinfect.
Yeah, it'll cost you something, but it's a great food prep surface!
 
One way to split shipping costs is to find a friend near you that also wants a bison gear drop down table.

I did that and ordered like a $800 worth of duplicate bison gear (2 drop down tables, two gear organizers, two ceiling shelves, and other little things). Shipping stayed around $80 for all the gear
 
It’s great if you can make your own for free.

I have zero materials to make a nice table and I started adding the cost of nuts, bolts, wire, wire clasps, hooks, and the table material…when I added everything up…it was close to the bison gear price and not even as nice.

Also, I didn’t have a metal cutting blade for my circular saw…so I was thinking wood.

If you can do it for free, then that’s awesome.
