Gumby has generously agreed to open the shop on the 30th of December for a birfday party. For those who are interested, I'll be there after 9am. I'll also bring my center caps for Scott and Archie. Once it's done, maybe we can get an early start on the New Year's Eve festivities...
Thanks guys,

hmmm, having wheeled with stock birfs a couple months last summer, I am a pro at birf-jobs;) But i cant say its a party.

I'll be there. Any other maintenance projects going to happen concurrently?

I have a hub socket and seal remover. Also have the aluminum oil seal installer tool if needed. Just let me know.

Patrick, if you can get parts for your birfs in time, this is the time and place to do it. ;)

See you all then.

Rob, good point.

Everyone please inform me. What exactly do I need to buy?

I have been to longfields site and looked around on the forum.
I think I might only need the 27inchers, love to go to the 30's but cost is always an issue.

Wahoo!!, another excuse to use food money to buy cruiser toys.

I'll be there to lend a hand for a few hours that day. I'm no pro at it but I know the procedure. I'll have to see if my 40 wants to drive that far.

hhhhmmm...may make a road trip down for this.....

really, we should wheel the day before in Attica ;)

Ill probably be there.

I'll certainly be there.... Coming from downtown. Anyone need a ride?

Patrick --

Got all your parts with me including all seals, gaskets, felts, AND trunion bearings. I did not get wheel bearings as that would have put us way over our spending cap. Cruiserdan recommended sourcing them locally if needed. I do have the seals for them if they only need to be repacked. The total was around $220 I think. (I have the receipt and will bring it on the 30th.) I'm going to drive myself as I picked up a few new seals and such from Dan and if there's time I want to pull my birfs out only and add more grease... I'm getting some clicking in turns that I didn't have before and also the typical dry spindle bushing noise on occasion.
