'13 premium, With stock springs, stock weight will 5100 on 3rd setting listed as 1.75" be realistic? Or closer to 1.5 or 2"?
Worth it to get front springs for true 2"? Where would the perch go with a spring like OME 884? Any other spring suggestions?
Mellow offroad, mostly fire roads. Unfortunately lots of commuting

Will be tricking the rear bags so was thinking of keeping stock springs till I need a whole set anyhow

It will affect your ride, but if a full 2" is what you're after, you can get that from the 5100's on the 4th ring setting I believe. No springs necessary. For the rear, either trick your bags or get a set of springs.

I recently installed them on 3rd ring, didnt want to get uca. I forgot to accurately measure before but I think about 1.5 was achieved. Nothing wild. Ride is a little more responsive and small bumps are transmitted more but large bumps are better dampened.

Awesome! What did you do for the rear?
Tricked the bags.
Fairly Subtle. I'll put on sequoia wheels with AT tires this weekend. Should really take off the steps too. I'll be working on the sliders.

Looks perfect and similar to what I am working on as well. No airbags on mine, but all I am going for is a mild 1.5" - 2" lift and all-terrains for casual overlanding.

Update here with pictures after tires!

I am not sure why they advertise these as 0 to 2.5" of lift. Pretty sure it is 1" to 2.5" of lift both front and rear. I had about 1.5-2" of lift with the 2nd from bottom ring. The fronts only have 4 rings spaced about ½" apart; 1" 1.5" 2" & 2.5". Rears bottom out for a lot of people until they lift a tad, like 1", though that could be due to them being spec'd for a 4Runner not a GX.

1st setting is considered "normal ride height", no lift.
0, 0.85, 1.75, 2.5 going by their mounting instructions.

Are you going to cut the steps or replace them with the Prado rockers?

Just look for the 4runner of same year.
I got this set from shocksurplus.com, best price I could find at the time
"Bilstein B8 5100 Monotube Gas Adjustable Strut & Shocks Set for 2010-2021 Toyota 4Runner 4WD RWD w/0-2.5" lift"

Almost thinking I need one more washer in the rear when I park on even ground.

@JCliftonB, I'm looking at a similar setup - 5100's on 3rd ring w/stock springs up front. I don't have airbags either. What springs did you end up going with on the rear? Is a diff drop or KDSS spacer needed for that setup?

I didn't do anything to the rear aside from KDSS rear spacers to fit my 275/65/18 spare tire back in the stock location. I am not looking to lift as much as I am just level the front out with 5100's on the 3rd ring setting.

Sounds perfect. My spare still fits. Just swapping shocks and keeping the stock springs sounds pretty simple. How do you like them?

Your spare of the same or larger size than 275/65 still fits in the stock location? I'm intrigued! How?

No, sorry. I have A/T's in the stock 265/60 18 size. Mine fits with a factory hitch. I just meant that I wouldn't have to use a spacer to fit my spare. Just thinking through the details of my swap.

Gotcha! I almost got excited that I wouldn't have to use the spacers! Document your build! Would love to follow along!
