Doc... I have 31 x 10.5s on right now, but I really do like that skinny look. I don't think I will ever be carrying that much weight, so they'd work out just fine on my rig.

Of course, I just put the 31 x 10.5s on the truck a few months ago, so I have quite a while before i will need a new set.

JH statts, sorry I quoted the wrong post! I meant to quote Boston FJ60 who said they were too narrow for a heavy truck.

Sorry for the flub.

I just got my 33x9.5 on today I love em!

Jhstatts,

I'll buy those 31's off of you right now if the price is right, so you can get those 33x9.50's. I'm in Richmond,VA.

Let me know,
Chris

LOL......I agree they do look wider.........but they are they are the SAME tires.

a 33x10.5 takes 36 PSI max a 33x9.5 can take something like 50psi.........why or what that mean I dunno but its kinda odd

Pimp... those do look skinny in the 2nd pic and wider in the last pic. I am not calling you a liar by any means. You are the man.

those look great. Bet you noticed how much better it rides as well as tracking better.

I was very surprised that the 33x9.5 really didn't seem to effect the power of our 90f62....

Oh.....a 33x9.5 will fit underneath for a spare..........cool huh? :)

yep, what he said. As to fitting 33x10.5's........can't tell ya for sure......I "hear" they do, no personal experence.

it will fit. it will just look like your truck is taking a poop.

I just took my 33x12.50's (on 15x8 wheels) off and put back on a set of 31's (on stock wheels) and was amazed at how much better the pig rode. But I hate the look now. Do the 33x9.50's and stock wheels ride any better than the 33x12.50's on aftermarket ones?

CMD... Nah, I think I will wait on the skinny. I have some other stuff I have to do before I make the tire change.

Doc... no problem. Thanks.

This is the HUGE advantave of an FJ62...they come stock with 4.11's FJ60's come stock with 3.72's. I actually swapped out complete 3rds from a 62 into my 60...

Ok I toolk it to school today, I love it! I get a lot more body roll now so I just gotta slow down more in the turns,
Also it has mad me put my new TRE's on the top of the to buy list lol I ca n really feel it now!

'85 Fj60 with previos owners add-a-leaf suspension lift (looks about 1.5")
I'm new to the Landcruisers and need new tires. Sounds like you guys are saying that 33x9.5s will fit ok, but I'm worried about power loss. I live in Harrisonburg VA with the mountains. The TLC is not my only car so I have my accord if I need to get somewhere quickly but don't want to drain so much power it's no fun to wheel in.
