Anyone want to buy my old TIG welder? Its a Biggg ass Miller Dial Arc 250 High Frequency.

I'm sooooooo sick of used Victoria flakes.

I'm asking $1200 on used Vic and have had a never ending list of flakers. Mudder price $750 as is where is just take it away so I can have some garage space back. Its single phase 220V (or440V) and needs some serious jam..... 100amp breaker if you really want to stretch its legs. Its never let me down.

It comes with a wheeled cart as well as whats mentioned in the add.... I have the means to load it onto a truck or trailer here at my house.

Cam, it's possible the UVic physics department might take it off your hands. I'll let you know tomorrow. We're poor and end up buying used equipment, haha. The Tig welder we have is 60's vintage I think.

If I had money I would buy it off of you

You know how to Tig?

Sounds like yours is similar to what they already have, so they're going to pass. Good luck with sale though Cam. That is a really good deal. Is this what you used on your 60 build?

Ya, all the alloy stuff and my cut and turn I used this tig. The steel stuff was almost all done with my equally as ancient and awesome mig welder that ill most likely be buried with (lol). Its been the most reliable thing I've ever owned.

I really like old welders but just don't have the power requirements to run the tig at its full potential.

oh Margaret ,

relax. you know no one on this board is smart enough or rich enough to use that high fallutin' spark maker of yours anyways.

we up to a minute now? :flipoff2:

no one is smart enough eh?

Cam I will ask around if anyone is looking for one.
