Been a while since i posted on here but thought i'd post a few pics of my Troopy's post nup cargo a couple weekends ago. Bride (my wife's sister) and groom had reception in CA Redwoods and insisted troopy was the right sled to get them there. Not quite a Tanzanian safari pic but some may fine it entertaining nonetheless.
I've had the Troopy for about 5 months now. All good. It's been getting lots of around town drive time and been to the local hills for a handfull of family camping trips. Was bummed to miss the Blue Lake run in Sept. Couldn't pull it together. Next year.
We've thrown a litle work into it. New shoes - BFG KM2's (shockingly quiet and comfortable around town, more than I'll ever need off pavemet). Safety first (and second) in my house so Whitey45 at Bay Area Speedomotive skillfully crypted together a couple Fj40 cages from MetalTech for full Troopy cage. Also, we (well, Whitey) threw in some Corbeau Moab seats and harnesses. Seats very solid but are intended to be temporary while kids are in car seats then back to jump seats (if i can find a set). Very pleased with current cage and seat set up. Thanks again, Whitey. Will post pics of completed cage/seat set up when it's finished. Otherwise, mods have been cosemetic/minor (e.g. weatherstripping, door repairs, battery). Need to put some new night eyes in it. Ultimately I don't expect it'll ever look much different than it does now.

My wife didn't even ask when a Cruiser pulled up front for our exit ...
