Kobe steel inferior metal supposedly went into our 200 series Toyota now claims that it meets specs what else would they say and now soy based wiring but no mention of it being in the 200 series but if it’s in everything else why wouldn’t they have put it in our 200 series anybody got any info

Land Rover used to issue a dog with every vehicle so the owner wouldn't be lonely walking home... perhaps Toyota should issue a cat?

Rodents have been eating wiring since long before soy was invented. It’s funny that the “soy” suddenly became the cause of man boobs and mouse attacks on cars. In my opinion this is a non-issue and I live on two acres besides forty acres of bush. I have camped in BC and Alaska and the Yukon and North west Territories and I guess our rodents don’t know soy is tasty to them. I did have a rodent incident but he just built a nest in the cabin air filter space, must have been well fed because he didnt eat the truck. I am resisting the urge to say F§§§ N#@$.
I might feel different if soy had stopped any of the hot flashes in my house.

Toyota Faces Revived Claims That Wiring Parts Drew Rodents
Aug. 20, 2020, 5:45 PM
  • Trial court misidentified alleged defect, 9th Cir. says
  • Fraud-based claims properly dismissed
Car owners adequately stated claims against Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. Inc. over soy-based wiring harnesses allegedly prone to chewing damage from rodents, the Ninth Circuit ruled.
The trial court erred when it dismissed warranty claims on behalf of a multistate proposed class, the appeals court said Wednesday in an unpublished per curiam opinion. And the claims by Albert Heber and other consumers are plausible, the court said.
