Best looking wheel/tire combo on Freeborn Red FJ40 (2 Viewers)

Pictured here is my current set up 3" lift with 15x10 black D window rims and 32-11.50 Coopers. I now want to go tall and skinny. I want to change tires to a 33-10.50 and will need a narrower wheel to go with them. I could just get 7" wide in the same style wheel again but I'd like to consider other choices and would like some opinions. The OEM gray steelies with baby moon caps is a consideration but I kind of like white 8 spoke wagon wheels on red cruisers too. And what about chrome? Also if I go skinny rim, what backset looks best? Thoughts, pics?

leave them in the 80's where they belong.....IMHO, of course.

FatTire, have you decided on wheels yet? I too have a Freeborn Red 40. However, I currently have white spokes on 33x10.50s (yes I know, they're the 80's look on a pre '80 model.) Getting ready to go with OEM gray steelies with baby moon caps with same 33x10.50s.

I do like the look of the white steelies with baby moon caps like the one you've pictured...definitely a tough decision.

If you're still looking for white spokes, let me know...I'll have 5 for sale soon. This is the wheel look I'm going with:

Painted FJ60 wheels in Cygnus white and center caps. Other one has later minitruck wheels, no hub caps, painted smoke grey.
Both of these wheels are 15 x 6, rather than the stock hub cap steelies that are 15 x 5.5

Nope, just painted to match the roof and grill at a local body shop.
