Hi Guys-

I'm looking for a rugged no nonsense fuseblock for a 100 series.

The fuseblock will run accessories; fridge, lights, etc.

I've seached a bit on MUD and elsewhere. This one seems to be the best:

I open to suggestions. Does anyone have a better one?

Thanks

Seth

Well geez, I think the only one that would be better than that would be this one...

Oh... wait - that's the one :-)

I use those at work all the time - they also have the same thing without the ground bus, and same again but in a six circuit version. More is better in my opinion - that fuse block is great to work with and I have no complaints about it!

Here is a pic of a 6 circuit block from 12voltguy.com I installed. It does not have the ground buss, I did not see the need for it for my application.

Darren can customize the power feeds etc to fit whatever application you want. Great guy to deal with. Top notch customer service.

Seth,
The "etc." is what you need to think about. You need to decide if you need a combination of circuits; some that need constant 12v power, and some that you would want on switched 12v power (meaning the circuit is active only with the ignition on.)

If you need 6 constant + 3 switched (or something like this) then take a look at the fuse panels from Wrangler NW. I don't have their information handy but post back if you cannot find them.

I installed the 5029 (similar to the 5026 without negative bus) in the engine bay of my 80 series.

It's worked well for me. They're rated for 100 amps total (30 amps max per circuit). I installed a 150 amp fuse between the fuse block and the battery.

In hindsight, the 150 amp inline fuse is probably unnecessary.
