Chris is the best. He has always treated my Toyotas great. Hope he never retires! Is the selfish of me???..........Good news all. Chris at Toyomaster tracked down a bad butt splice in one of the O2 sensor wires. Passed emissions today with flying colors. Thanks for all the input!
Good, reliable, knowledgeable mechanics are far and few between. You've found a good one. I had a problem with an '89 Camry I used to own where every time I shifted from P to D, I would blow a fuse that made my dash lights, windows and door locks stop functioning. My mechanic found a wire going to the backup lights had been snagged and worn through by the trunk pivot/hinge. Spliced, insulated and secured solved the problem. Unfortunately, my mechanic was my dad. He's in his 70's now and isn't quite as capable as he once was due to back pain problems.Good news all.
