the BC GPS volume 5 is now $150 -seems a little greedy.

I guess if you buy all the books, which I have, it would come to $120? Kind of frustrating to have to pay twice.
How often do they update, and is that included in the initial purchase price?

all of BC now - no regional choice - Last update Nov 2014 - next one expected Nov/Dec 2015 - extra $20 for the update.

I'm looking for used Garmin now. I'm happy they are coming with larger screens now, just have to
be patient.

As far as I know, the more information you send to them the more free updates you get. That makes sense and kind of forces people to send in updates and keeps the trails more current.

no s***. i so prefffer the original version. all sorts of roads that are in the plans to be build are on the new ones. but what is worse is that the sometimes delete the deactivated roads.
