Had a snow day last week and I tend to get restless so I built a propane bottle charcoal bbq Aussie style in the middle of winter..? It seems to work well if I’m happy with it I will make a larger one someday

I assume it's just because I'm not looking closely enough:lol:

Yep haha you know me well. everything that’s not part of the original tank is stainless elevator metal and some elevator mild steel hardware.


SS grill?

Yes stainless but unfortunately free elevator stainless isn't food grade stainless so not the same quality but still is rust resistant


This was a mobile camping small scale test it only has room for two to three burgers at a time. I still need to figure out a latch to hold the top to the bottom for carrying. Any ideas? Other than that I’m now ready to build a full size when I scrounge up a free larger propane or air tank
