So, once it comes in, off to the paint shop it goes.

I think you will be very happy with your purchase. Sounds like you want to move forward to paint. Ask the shop to save you some touch up:idea::doh:

Yes, I will be painting. I asked the shop to put some of the paint in a rattle can for me but he said that its against the law for him to do that. BUT, he did say that he would put some in a air tight container if I brought him one. I was hoping that they could fill some aerosol containers. Does this sound right?
It will be here friday thanks to Christo getting it out very quickly today. Thanks Christo!!!

New Slee bumper with tire swing out installed today. It's too pretty to scratch now.

Nice! are you you going to leave that spare down under?

Nice! Great decision on the bumper!

No, I couldn't figure out how to get it out with the little bit of time I had today. I'm going to have my mechanic take it out while he's adding the 30mm spacers to my 865 springs.

should be tool kit in left rear compartment with a specific lug key for lowering it on the cable device. If you dont have the security lug key for your device then will have to cut cable and manually remove everything. Come by house tonight and will help you while I am loading up for Uwharrie.

or, the dealer will have a master lock key set and can lower the tire for you. s/b a no charge courtesy

With the new rear bumper you are going to want to swap out those 865's. I ran 865's with and without spacers and even had them in with spacers when I added my rear bumper. They just can't handle the weight you have back there now. I'm sure you already know this but some Slee springs or OME 863's would be much better suited to your current setup. I did really like the 865's until I added all the weight in the back. If you keep 865's with spacers it will be a bouncy ride with the spring rate of an old worn out mattress. I put in 863's and they ride sooo much better IMO...

Good luck; your hundy is looking good.

Thanks, JGray. Yea, I noticed the ride feels a little mushy and the road manors are very sloppy. Sloppy may be a little harsh but overall, the truck drives awesome. I will be on a 2-3 day trail ride with a few clubs and we will see how it holds up to the test. I do see 863's in my future though.

I ordered the Slee springs. i was told by Slee that they should ride like my 865's with a complete 2.5" of height and bumper with swing out and some cargo load. They did say they will more stiff without any load in the cargo area, but I plan on adding drawers eventually.

Installed Slee 2.5" heavy springs today. With the Slee rear bumper and tire swing out, the truck rides great. I was VERY surprised because due to how heavy and thick the springs are. Great job Slee.

Very good sir! I was also surprised how much better mine rode after adding the rear bumper and then adding the OME 863's. My hundy was much happier.

check out www.automotivetouchup.com for aerosol cans of color matched paint. I personally repainted the entire rear bumper of the GX470 when my wife plowed into a trailer and my buddy repainted his whole front bumper with a single can.

Pefect color match each time.

Your cruiser looks great, btw, top notch parts all the way around.

Thanks for the info and compliment, SouthernSS.

are you really selling the sahara? going blue berry?

I was thinking of going with the Blueberry but I think I will stay with my Sahara. I can mount the Lightforce lights on it, an antenna and even sit on it. Plus, I had to be reminded why i chose the ARB in the first place, which is airbag compliance and someone telling me today about insurance companies and non compliant bumpers. You think about things like that when you have 3 little one's and a wife.

what was said about insurance and the aftermarket bumpers? and i get you with the whole air bag compliance.
