my wife bought me a 40 gig ipod and it's all i listen to now. 10,000 songs. i'm not even going to buy a head unit. it will plug straight into the amp. i'm going to put a sub under each seat, 6" speakers in the rear doors and 3" speakers up front somewhere. none of this probably helps you.

I used an Audiobahn sub as it had a shallow enough mounting depth, doesn't need a ton of air, and came highly recommended. I used the old panel as a template and viola, I have bass and clean floor. Let me take some pics for you...

Please take pics. What kind of power you have going to that thing?

I want to add to the low end, but not take up floor space if possible.

milesstarkey, I'd like to hear more about the subs under the seat thing. My 80 has manual seats, will have to look but I think I have a heater under one of them, maybe an alarm box as well....
