Well I finally got to the point that it was time to put the battery tray back in so off to my pile of parts I went. It didn't take long to figure out that thing wasn't going back in. It was shot and needed rebuilt in every way. Didn't want to put the time into it right now so I did a Google search. stainlesstrays.com came up and to my amazement they had a tray for the FJ55. In fact he had two of them. One for the original single battery and one for a double battery set up. It's made from stainless and it's $70 plus the shipping. Yep, sign me up for one. Noel is as nice as can be and he shipped one right out. FedEx thought it would be funny to loose the first one he sent so Noel was nice enough to pack up a second one and ship it out as well. They decided it might be a good idea to delivery this one. Man was I in for a nice surprise. This thing is awesome and worth every penny. Chances are it's going to be around long after the pig crumbles to dust so don't screw around with those old trays. Chunk them and get in touch with Noel. This thing gets the "Crackedup Two Thumbs Up Award" and there aren't many things that can say that.

No, I am not associated with Noel in any way. I just think it is a good product and deserves a mention.

Yup. Pighead got the first one of those ever. Even posted it here, a long time ago. It was a prototype, so it was free. and it was for double Optimas. I gave him my old battery tray so he could see how the single tray worked. You're welcome.

i've got one in my 45... they are quality and beautiful. i'm making my own for the pig, otherwise i would've gotten one. pig trays, like pigs themselves, seem to be made to rot away compared to the other cruisers:frown:
