This is certainly not a crazy price for what looks to be a fine '77 FJ40 ($35k)

The top does not look like it is the right year though.
 
Agree the top is not correct for a 77 but it does have the correct roll bar for the vent window. It also shows why you want to do to your cruiser what you want. Doubt the seller made much if anything at that price. Certainly not worth the effort. If I ever decide to restore one to sell it would never be sold at a no reverse auction. Just too much of a crap shoot. Barret Jackson would not be the auction house I would choose. Just glad cruisers are just a hobby and not something I need to supplement my income with.
 
Good eyes guys. I was at Barrett and looked all over for the one above and could not find. It was supposed to be in tent 6 but nowhere to be found. My experience with Barrett is that they look ok in the pics but in person they tend to be another story.
