UPDATE: Don't bother reading. I think I'll need a YATOUR Y-splitter cable for the 5+7 connector for the 98-02 with ML. This doesn't appear to be a problem with the 03+ 6+6 connector (CD changer) folks.
Something with that 5+7 connector has something to do with the ML amp.

Is the amp blown? 2002 LX470 with ML. Audio newb here. Here’s a lot of details:
BEFORE: All my speakers were blown, subwoofer unplugged and I was using this FM transmitting Bluetooth device that plugged into my cigarette port. Music sounded bad of course, and I had the radio crackling sound, but everything was fine. Then I decided to give myself a mini re-vamp. My CD changer magazine was ejected, as a possible suspect for a parasitic drain. After I ejected the magazine, my battery health seemed to be normal for a long time.
AFTER: Recently replaced front and rear lows with 4ohm. Preferred 8ohm, but was gonna try with the 4ohm with no plans in blasting my stereo. Subwoofer remains unplugged for now. Did not use the crossovers from the aftermarket speakers and everything went back to how it was plugged in: original factory harnesses and wiring for tweeter, mid, low for the front doors, and the rears were coaxial so just plugged them back in.
After that installation (sans driver front speaker setup, which was disconnected during this process) and sounds came out.. Everything fine. Finished the driver side.
Tried plugging in one of those YATOUR units that replace the CD Changer and gives me Bluetooth. Volume control, balance, all that stuff is greyed-out. Bluetooth and switching tracks appeared to be working but no sound.
During this process, the battery died. Could’ve been because my LX was sitting around in my garage for a week with no battery tender hooked up to it, and me testing some other things out for ambient lighting. Normally it would stay alive for a lot longer than that though. Hooked up a NOCO to my battery terminals over night to give my battery some charge.
So the next morning (today) I figured, this is weird. Switched back to AM and FM radio on the headunit and same thing. No sound, everything greyed-out.
I get the headunit beeps when hitting buttons, toggling between radio, climate control and all of that.
Checked the radio fuse in the engine bay, that seems normal.
Removed the negative battery terminal, thinking maybe something needed to get reset from the communication from head unit to amp but same result.
I do hear some relays triggering on when starting up the LX, but not certain if that’s the amp or not.
I haven’t lifted the passenger seat up to confirm if the amp is getting power.
Now, I’m leaning towards a complete NAV delete at this point. I’m still getting a “program disk is inserted” message upon start-up that persists and may be related to a burned copy of the NAV disk. Things like Trip Information, those don’t work and doesn’t display any information. So with that still needing to be troubleshooted…..
If I do a NAV delete, I can completely bypass the amp and just rely on the headunit right?
