Sorry I haven't posted up in a week but it's been REAL BAD around the Ponderosa since returning from Orange Beach on vacation.
We arrived back Friday night around midnight to just a horrible scene.
We leave our dog Molly at home when we go out of town. We have a doggy door that allows her to go out into the back yard and still get into the house and a neighbor comes by every couple of days to check on her. We have done this many times in last couple of years.
Somehow sometime between Wed. night and Friday, she somehow pushed open the door to our upstairs theater room and then somehow the door closed behind her.
The air conditioner up there is on a separate unit which was off while we were gone.
We lost our Molly and you can imagine the smell when we got home.
The carpet is having to be replaced and the flooring under her as well. All the furniture up there has had to be cleaned or replaced. And the room is going to have to be repainted.
Needless to say Debbie and the girls have had a real hard time. Debbie especially.
Hind sight and the thoughts of how she suffered have really put a hole in our hearts.
BTW insurance will not cover damage done by your own pet to your own property. They will cover damage done by an animal not your own or damage to others property by your pet...
Insurance in just sooooo cool. Not worth anything when you need it.
So Team Tolleson has had a terrible weekend.
Debbie had surgery this morning as well on her wrist, everything went well she is back home without any complications.
