So I put my diff back together. Centre has an Aussie Locker, and has new wheel bearings and seals, etc.

Does this gap look normal? I don't remember if it looked like this or not, before I took it apart. Both sides have the same gap, and the backing plate is bolted on fully, etc.

The entire assembly seems to rotate freely.

Looks normal to me. Put all the brake shoe stuff on and it will look normal. :D

Just as long as you pressed the bearing and the spacer onto the axle shaft and got the snap ring back on before you bolted it in, you're good to go!

The rain stopped for long enough for me to go and sit a brake drum on there. It seems to fit properly with minimal gap between the drum and the backing plate, so I guess that means it's all good.

Yup. Now just have to go to the local store and get new wheel cylinders, both of mine were leaking. New PBR wheel cylinders are in stock and only $24 each, I couldn't believe my luck.
