I just wanted to share this website with you all. I've used it to guide most all of my outdoor gear purchases in the past year or so. It's a little lacking in the expedition/car camping department, but they've been gradually adding more reviews. They also do a good job of reviewing function and what to look for in certain categories of gear or clothing.

I've used them in the past, good reviews by people who really use the stuff. Sometimes a bit weak,
But worthwhile every time.
