HI Everyone,
I've been a silent member for almost a year when I acquired my 570 and finally got the ball rolling. I would like to share my experience and voyage towards building what I think is the most compliant and versatile 570 for my country but could apply to some of you. My background comes from 10 years of building my cars from 35 inch tires jeep Jk, 34 inch tires vs Amarok, 33 inch tires Audi Q7, and finally this 570. Will be updating with proper pics but let's get the ball rolling.
Build sheet:
NST Body Lift and rad relocation
Robinsons MRA shocks - Just installed! Love them!
Custom exhaust
Ahc delete
Stock UCA and LCA - for now!
315/70r17 TOYO RT C Load
Black rhino wheels 0 offset
3d printed interior parts - will share stls for group members
So I ran the AHC for a year tried Westcott Preload front with rear spring spacers and the body lift. Could not get the car to ride how I needed it for my country. I had a lifted JK with nitto trail grapplers in Virginia, USA and it rode miles better that RT with ahc either at stock height with 285s or with the sensor lift. I even tried toyo at3 and could not comply. The ahc gave me the float but our crater flooded roads could not keep up. The ahc is awesome btw I installed new globes, bled it, setup everything that with street tires complied but as soon as the RTs got in the game the small bump compliance or high speed side of the suspension could not keep up with my situational problem. I just swapped the ahc with Robinsons MRA and it has a similar floaty feel but the smaller bump and jittery or chatter compliance is unbelievable. The MRA does delete the harshness of the RT tires. Please ask me more details as I know there are a million videos but there is not much information towards the feel of the change. I will drive deeper on the suspension subject later.
