Does anybody know where I can download the FSM for non-US models. I got my brother to search (he's a computer whiz, I'm a puter noob) but he couldn't find anything to suit diesel cruisers. They want a small fortune for the paper genuine manuals and the non genuine manuals don't show enough detail.
Over the last day I used the info contained in this thread to download ALL the manuals for our LX450, GS300, and Supra. Much thanks to Computerbookstore for his directions! The hardest part for me was finding a decent (& free) text editor with the right features to simplify compiling the URL lists. The TIS access fee was $10 well spent.
Now I just have to compile all these files into something more usable. That might have to wait till next week...
Good site to download wget for windows: http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/packages/wget.htm
if you download/run from the "Setup program" link everything will be installed using the defaults and the program can be found, from the command prompt, at location
C:\Program Files\GnuWin32\bin
Screwed up in converting the frame source code to the url file and now manually deleting the document "title" by hand. I've inserted the necessary PDF language and it is working, just need to clean up the rest of the file so all files download. Haven't found a way to find/replace that area yet. Suggestions?
Hmmm. Dunno offhand how to do that but Lochsa and CBS were able to post the URL list without them becoming links and therefore truncated. PM one of those guys. In the meantime, I'll experiment from home.
