Hi All,
Up for sale is a very rare and very collectable Aussie1963 FJ45 Landcruiser. This is one of only 39 imported by Sir Leslie Theiss in 1963 of which only a handfull would remain.
It has a one piece cab without corner glass (only available in 1963 & 1964) with sliding rear windows and the vent in the windscreen panel and Landcruiser embossed in the bezel.
It is a 3 speed floor shift and the motor hasn't been started for a few years but tried to fire when I poured fuel down the carb. Has brand new leads, coil and points.
Seats have been recovered.
All in all an easy restoration as it has minimal rust in the cab tub. Was painted yellow sometime in the last 10 years and doesn't appear to have had a hard life in the last 48 years.
Also included are chrome rims x 5,
4 post steel bullbar,
Steel checkerplate tray with dropsides and oxy holders.
I have the headlights and parking lights, cluster and some other things that aren't in the pics.
The roof needs to be widened slightly to fit the cab properly as it is a later fiberglass one, quoted $200 to do.

I'm thinking it is a short wheel base rig.

1-haven't ever seen a non-removable top long wheel base
2-the front of the rear spring hanger is under the rear of the cab, the long wheel base models are located further back on the frame

good luck with the sale.

Definately a long as the shorts were never imported to Oz. The hanger is about 7 inches behind the cab pic is decieving
good luck with the sale.

Thanks
