So after many years of trying to figure out what to do with my poor truck and the never ending cancer that has been eating her alive (no matter what I said - they are not speed holes), I finally found a new toy! After some hunting around and through nothing short of sheer coincidence I went down to check out an almost rust free 60. It had some minor spots and paint peeling - minor - but was a very nice platform for what I have in mind. To make a long story short, I did not buy it, instead I found another 60, in even better condition for the same price (which I will not mention). So now I just have to organize a few things and go down and pick it up. The best part is that it is only body and frame, and 99.5% clean, so I can seal everything that should have been sealed at the factory, paint, alter, add, swap and I have my truck!!:bounce::bounce2::bounce::bounce2::D.
Granted this is going to take a while to do but it is worth the wait and I will post pics as I go along.

 Congrats Mat. Nice to hear another southern parts truck will be used to keep one of ours alive. Hopefully owning a clean 60 without speed holes won't affect the wheeling too much :steer::hillbilly:.

You all can laugh and joke now but wait until it's done and then we'll see (granted that might not be until next year). As for pics, here is a couple, now it has sat outside for a bit so it is dirty but there is no rust on the body.

SOA to boot. awsome.

Nice find Matt, congrats! It even has the fuel return line on the frame for when you add a 13B-T or 12H-T. Maybe a 1HD-T?

matt you didnt tell me that it was sprung over, gunna go with that set up or...?

I am only buying the body and frame, and whatever little goodies are inside that he has not taken out yet. The diffs stay with him, as for the SOA job....it looks sketchy at best and if I were to do it I would not do it that way. It was a budget hack job. Luckily they did not screw with the frame so I can do whatever set up I want. I have a lot of ideas as to what this truck is going to be and how I'm going to do it but for that you will have to wait until I can figure out what is realistic and what is just my imagination.
