The giant rubber spaghetti monster is growing. Re-installed a PCV today. It DEFINITELY reduced the blow-by I was seeing through the breathers. The good news: even with the truck sucking its own crank fumes, I still don't get an ounce of smoke out the tail pipe.

Bad news - sucking your own fumes didn't do good things to the consistency of my idle. Didn't have time to dive in today but hopefully it's just a matter of tweaking the mixture screws.

Oddly, the last couple times I've run the engine, the tapping from a couple posts ago has been nonexistent...

Hot oil pressure is still down around 9-11 psi, but I'm starting to wonder if the louder tap I've been hearing has something to do with warmer weather...it cooled down here again...

Also up on the docket is measuring that psi with another gauge to confirm accuracy. It's a mechanical gauge so I suspect that's right.
