Can someone please remind me who the gentleman was who cooked BBQ for our TAC meetings in the past? I need to order some Toyota/Lexus parts and wanted to use our local guy and get the TLCA discount.

Thanks for the info. I called them but struck out on Lexus parts. I ended up calling the place in Houston that advertises in the Trails. They hooked me up.

Driver's door lock actuator for a 2003 GS300 (wife's car). The motor that runs the assembly can be had on ebay for $2.50. It fits in an asembly that is $280.00 from Toyota. I discovered how to buy the motor and how to put it in the assembly (and I tried twice) however i did a horible job of opening the "glued shut" motor case and could never get it sealed right. Every time the door unlocked or locked the worm gear would skip and make a buzzing noise. It drove my wife crazy (and consequently me as well). So I broke down and bought the assembly. Next time one of the motors goes bad I have another spare and I will try again.

I should have waited for a wrenching weekend so you could stick your little girly hands in that door - what a bugger that was!
