Asian carb rebuild

After seeing all of the post I talked with jim about rebuilding a asian carb. He said he does something extra over the stock rebuild for additional dollars. I forgot to ask him what this extra was. Has anyone had this done and exactly what is the extra?

Assuming it's an older carb (newer ones already have) he ports it for vacuum advance so you can use it with a non-US dist.
