Ash tray CB mount in 100 series?

I did a search and didn't find anything, but I figured I'd ask anyways. Back when I had a 04 Tacoma I was able to mount a small Uniden CB where the ash tray fit. I've seen picture of this done on 80 series LC's, but not 100 series. Has anyone tried it and is it possible?

Do a google image search. I saw one last week and am probably going to replicate it when I get a mobile radio (vs. a HT).
