I have a 93 xtra cab 4x4 and have the opportunity to buy a 92 xtra cab for a parts truck for $300. As far as I know everything is the same between the two. Does anyone have info to say otherwise? Thanks for any help.

the same

That may have been when they changed the electrical plugs... So yes, the parts are the same, but electrical things may not be direct plug in replacements...

CHeck the toyota parts catolog in the FAQ thread (large red link) and see if part numbers are the same.

Not sure when these parts changed but I have a 92 and had a 94 at the same time.
Wires, cap and coil were different.
I thought the clutch was smaller on the 92?:hhmm:
R-12 vs. R-134 in a/c

According to Marlin's product list something changed from the 92 to 93 22RE trucks.........maybe in 93 they all started using the V6/Turbo clutch?

I would buy the truck....too hard to pass up a $300 dollar truck, you could probably part it out for more than that. Keep things you need spares of, like front CV's and the rear diff.
